PRIVACY POLICY FOR PANDORA

1. INTRODUCTION

PANDORA is a free social entertainment game developed by Giorgos Fatouros.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when users download, install, and use the PANDORA mobile application.

PANDORA does not require users to create an account, sign in, or provide their name, email address, telephone number, or other direct identification details in order to play.

2. INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE USER

PANDORA asks the player to choose a nickname.

The nickname:

• is stored locally on the player’s device;

• may be displayed to the other player during a connected match;

• is not stored on our servers; and

• can be removed by clearing the application’s data or uninstalling the application.

Users should not use their real name or include personal information in their nickname.

3. GAMEPLAY AND PLAYER ANSWERS

PANDORA uses Bluetooth and Nearby Devices functionality to discover and connect two nearby devices for local one-versus-one gameplay.

During a match, player answers and round results may be transmitted between the two connected devices solely to operate the live game.

We do not store player answers, match history, scores, rematch choices, or exit results on our servers. Gameplay information is used for the active match and is cleared when it is no longer required for that session.

PANDORA does not provide public chat, private messaging, social-media posting, or user-generated content publishing.

4. FIREBASE REALTIME DATABASE

PANDORA uses Google Firebase Realtime Database to retrieve the curated question content required by the game.

The questions are created and managed by us. Players cannot upload or publish their own questions through the application.

Player answers, nicknames, match history, and scores are not stored in Firebase Realtime Database by PANDORA.

Data transmitted between the application and Google Firebase is encrypted in transit.

5. ADVERTISING AND THIRD-PARTY DATA PROCESSING

PANDORA is free to download and play and displays advertising through Google AdMob.

Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google’s advertising partners may automatically collect, process, and share certain technical information, including:

• approximate location inferred from the device’s IP address;

• interactions with the application and advertisements;

• diagnostic and application-performance information; and

• device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or other similar identifiers.

This information may be used for:

• displaying and measuring advertisements;

• advertising and marketing;

• analytics;

• detecting and preventing fraud;

• maintaining security; and

• complying with applicable legal obligations.

These technical data are processed by Google and its advertising partners in accordance with their own privacy policies, the user’s device settings, region, and privacy choices. Data transmitted by the advertising services is encrypted in transit.

Where required by applicable law, users may be shown privacy or consent options relating to advertising.

6. DATA COLLECTION BY THE DEVELOPER

We do not directly collect or store:

• names;

• email addresses;

• telephone numbers;

• postal addresses;

• passwords;

• payment information;

• photographs or videos;

• contact lists;

• precise location;

• player answers;

• match histories; or

• private messages.

PANDORA does not include artificial-intelligence features and does not use player answers to train artificial-intelligence systems.

7. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Because PANDORA does not create user accounts or store nicknames, player answers, scores, or match histories on our servers, there is generally no server-side gameplay history for us to retain or delete.

Locally stored application information, such as the chosen nickname, can be removed by:

• clearing PANDORA’s application data through the device settings; or

• uninstalling the application.

Information processed independently by Google AdMob, Firebase, or other Google services is retained and managed according to Google’s applicable policies.

8. DATA SECURITY

We use services and technologies designed to protect information during transmission. Data transferred between PANDORA and Google services is encrypted in transit.

However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. CHILDREN AND INTENDED AUDIENCE

PANDORA is intended for users aged 16 years and older.

The application is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect direct personal information from children.

Official age ratings displayed by an application store are determined through that store’s applicable content-rating process and may differ by country or region.

If a parent or legal guardian believes that a child has provided personal information through the application, they may contact us using the details below.

10. USER PRIVACY CHOICES

Users can manage advertising and privacy choices through their Android device settings and Google account settings.

Depending on the user’s device and region, these settings may include options to:

• manage personalised advertising;

• reset or delete the advertising identifier;

• manage application permissions;

• clear locally stored application data; and

• uninstall the application.

11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy when the application, its services, or applicable legal requirements change.

Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
